Group Therapy for Partners in ADHD - Accepting New Members Now!

Partners in ADHD is a group about learning, living, and loving a partner who has been diagnosed with ADHD. This group is a space where partners can seek and provide support to one another about how ADHD impacts their relationship, learn from others about how to address and cope with ADHD challenges in a relationship, and build on the strengths that non-ADHD partners bring to these relationships.

This group supports partners by providing education about ADHD, increasing understanding about how ADHD impacts relationships, and teaching skills to help relationships cope with the unique challenges of ADHD.

The group is designed to help you:

  • Gain education about ADHD and its neurological processes

  • Experience support and understanding from other partners of individuals with ADHD

  • Better understand how ADHD can function in relationships

  • Learn effective tools for communication, boundaries, and coping

  • Embrace the strengths and resiliency that ADHD can bring to a relationship

  • Build on the strengths that non-ADHD partners offer to the relationship

Gaining support from others going through similar experiences can be crucial in feeling understood and heard. This group offers an opportunity for you to connect over these shared experiences and gain the perspectives and useful tips that have worked for other partners in their relationship.

The cost is $50 per group/week and requires an initial 8-week commitment. Members are welcome to continue after the 8 weeks if they would like to.

The group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm at Center for Shared Insight, located off of I-25 and Colorado Blvd at 1780 S. Bellaire St. Suite 125, Denver, CO 80222. The group is facilitated by CSIP Psychologist, Dr. Mallaree Blake, PsyD.
